Marketing Specialist - Portland/Vancouver/Seattle

Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. (MFA)/ FLO Analytics (FLO) is searching for a full-time Marketing Specialist. As our Marketing Specialist you will help win new business and serve our existing clients through compelling writing and communication. Every day, you will drive all aspects of our marketing program, from organizing and optimizing internal marketing resources, to developing content for marketing collateral, proposals, presentations, conferences, social media campaigns, and web. You will develop and lead marketing approaches with the assistance of your marketing and technical teammates.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will...

• Promote and maintain MFA and FLO brand and online presence while ensuring its integrity.
• Work closely with our leaders and technical staff to identify business opportunities and establish relationships.
• Develop, draft, and coordinate preparation of compelling proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQ), and interview materials including managing proposal schedules and internal deadlines.
• Lead strategy meetings and final marketing document preparations.
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategy.
• Oversee, create and track digital marketing performance.
• Review and develop text and graphics used for marketing campaigns and presentations.
• Track trends, opportunities, and competition in local and discipline market.
• Plan and staff special events (conference/tradeshow exhibits, client events, office open houses, etc.).
• Use and continue to enhance our company ERP/CRM system (Deltek Vantagepoint)
• Advance FLO's social media presence via the company website, LinkedIn, and other social media channels, including monitoring and reporting on digital media analytics.
• Recommend and oversee various branding opportunities including conference attendance, publications, advertising, and event sponsorship.
• Work independently and solicit input from mentors.

To thrive in this role, you must have...

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing or related field.
• Proven experience with organizing, editing, and preparing detailed marketing documents.
• Experience with digital marketing software and platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite.
• An understanding of WordPress, basic HTML, Google Analytics, and SEO
• Proven organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and in the team environment.

Compensation Range: $72,000 to $87,000 per year
