The PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) IT Marketing Technology Analyst will partner closely with the PBNA Marketing team and will lead the delivery of technology capabilities in support of the Marketing function. This role is with the PBNA IT Enabling Functions team within PBNA IT.
This position plays a key role that applies their knowledge of best-in-class marketing technologies to support key tactical and strategic projects, including consumer facing brand and marketing sites, insights generation, campaign management etc. As part of PBNA IT’s Agile organization model this position will act as Application Support Lead focusing 60% - 70% of time on business continuity items such as website retirements, DNS maintenance and managing social media credentials with 30% - 40% of time on new capabilities such as website activations, site metrics using Google analytics and governance.
This role will work with PBNA IT and business professionals across multiple functions, and with external agency partners to drive and advance PBNA Marketing priorities. You will help identify opportunities to evolve DevSecOps in PBNA Marketing IT and streamline approaches to solve business problems with data/digital solutions and advocate for their adoption.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Familiar with web design and coding techniques such as HTML, JavaScript, etc.
Liaison with agency and PepsiCo IT teams to ensure ongoing support and maintenance of our Marketing technology related capabilities
Collaborate with brand managers and agency partners on new web sites and solution design; provide governance against PepsiCo standards
Partner with PepsiCo IT teams (Information Security Group, Web Services, CTO) on activation of new sites
Troubleshoot issues escalated by business or IT partners
Understand hosting environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure
Understand content management solutions (CMS) such as Drupal and/or WordPress
Understand the strategic PBNA marketing roadmap for all brands to shape demand for IT
Manage the scope and timeline for IT deliverables for Marketing
Align with the overall global IT strategy and platforms; embrace new ways of working with Agile and DevSecOps.
Influence continuous improvement around all existing marketing related technology solutions
Closely monitor innovative technologies to ensure awareness of new technology trends to develop Best-in-Class products to achieve Marketing’s tactical and strategic goals
Onboarding of new brands on all IT related functions
Keep marketing teams up to date on legal and security requirements
Review digital presence with a security lens to protect brand reputation while partnering with Global IT Security teams on corporate standards
In addition to the necessary skills and experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above, there are several traits that the successful candidate will possess.Bachelor’s degree in related field, and 5+ years of professional experience required including business relationship management and/or consulting experience.
2+ years of proven leadership and business technical acumen in emerging technologies including Social, Mobile, Portal, Web Design and Cloud
2+ years of experience working with marketing functions and external digital agencies on strategy, hosting and implementation of digital marketing/social engagement initiatives.
Demonstrated business analysis and consultancy skills, evidenced through requirements gathering, business modelling, and structured communications to drive processes and product development forward.
Strong working knowledge of industry leading MarTech capabilities and technologies supporting the Marketing area such as Consumer data and Insights, Social Listening, Campaign management, Display/Video/Social/Mobile Digital Marketing, SEO, etc.
Hands on mobile and web development experience a plus
Knowledge and experience of DevSecOps execution is a plus
