The Marketplace Associate Manager - Amazon focus is responsible for driving the growth of the Marketplace channel activities while providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.


This role will oversee merchandising and sale activities for our marketplace customers on Seller Central (3P) and potentially 1P as well. This role partners with existing digital marketing resources to drive sales growth on our marketplaces by delivering improved sell-through, market share improvement, increased average order value and brand awareness. This should be achieved by implementing data-driven merchandising strategies and improvements in customer experience


  • Manage the day to day responsibilities of the Amazon Marketplace on Seller Central (1P experience as well a plus)
  • Own the catalogue - incl. all creative (graphics + Copy).
  • Reply back to all notices and reviews submitted on products.
  • Fulfil all inventory needs for FBA while avoiding Long Term Storage Fees / Nuisance / Chargebacks
  • Register and Update all / New styles with Brand Registry team.
  • Partner with internal team / agency / Amazon to ensure products are accurately priced and described.
  • Focus on increasing traffic through Amazon's marketing tools and promotions.
  • Uncover and execute new Amazon initiatives that will improve the customer experience and increase overall business.
  • Proactively identify product, service, and marketplace issues and resolve them accordingly.
  • Build relationships with key players on the Amazon account team.
  • Track weekly Amazon performance metrics and implement strategy to improve these metrics.
  • Lead projects and objectives that improve operations of the marketplace department.
  • Business Analysis, review daily sales reports, analyze web metrics and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Create Sales Orders / RMA from each closing period within Amazon, sorting from FBA and FBM inventory.
  • Provide assets needed to create promotions, test deals and troubleshoot errors.
  • Review inventory reports to identify products needing special attention.
  • Assist inventory team with demand planning and forecasting.
  • Curate additional product listings
  • Competitor research regarding pricing and sales strategies.
  • Ability to explore creatively and share/implement ideas for company growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest marketplace changes.
  • Strong Communication with Amazon Strategy Team to promote additional sales (DSP ads / Brand Store page / Sponsored ads / campaigns and coupons)

About You:


  • A sincere passion for ecommerce and online marketing.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • 5+ year professional experience and 2+ years of experience in Amazon vendor and seller central.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing functions beyond merchandising including marketing, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across functional areas.
  • Excellent written, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Quantitative and curious mindset.
  • Self-starter, creative thinker, problem solver.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills - comfortable leading and engaging key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
  • A demonstrated sense of priority, reliability, and flexibility

The base compensation range for this position is $90,000-$105,000.
