Job description
The Master Assembler position is responsible for the assembly and installation of truck bodies, support of the production and assembly of various components, and performs as an active member of the team. Beyond installation activities the person will be responsible for safety, training, parts inventory, lean/5S practices, and interaction with all levels of team members.

- Must be able to follow instructions (both verbal & written), fluent in advanced print reading with limited information, work individually and in a team setting.
- Must be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
- Troubleshoot and Repair assigned work.
- Must be proficient in work areas in Zones 1, 2, 4 & 5 to fill as needed to meet daily production goals.
- Update work order information in Aurora.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Perform as a team member which requires the ability to learn, perform and rotate to other workstations.
- Perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be mechanically inclined and skilled with hand, air, and power tools.
- Must perform work proficiently and be detail oriented.
- Understand and uphold Quality Assurance standards.
- Must be flexible to work any work cell.
- Must have strong computer skills using MS Office, knowledge of Aurora is a plus.

- Selection will be conducted based on meeting the minimum qualifications of the role and on current performance and attendance in current role.
- Must have 6 months of company employment and good standing in both attendance and performance.
