Job Description Summary

The Fan Services Associate greets fans upon entry and assists fans in locating their seats at Children’s Mercy Park. This individual works to ensure fans and guests have an enjoyable experience and provides them with any information as needed.

ASSOCIATE PERKS

• Pay starting at $16.00 per hour.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Examine and scan tickets.
• Troubleshoot issues when scanners and printers stop working.
• Ensure that guests are in the correct part of the stadium.
• Check tickets to gain access to specific sections.
• Be responsible for the five major gates into Children’s Mercy Park.
• Answer questions and give correct information about the game to guests.
• Check all credentials and escort privileges to make sure Associates and VIPs do not try to access a part of the building they are not supposed to.
• Mark tickets and stamp the hands of all patrons per level to ensure guests do not try to sneak other guests around the Premium spaces.
• Act as the first responder to incidents in sections and entrances to the stadium.
• Ensure that all guests are safe and following all Children’s Mercy Park guidelines.
• Assist guests in suites if help is needed.
• Act as a “middleman” if guests in suites need to talk to Legends or a Suite Host.
• Ensure that guests in suites have TVs working properly.
• Effectively deal with upset fans, away supports, standing room only guests and intoxicated guests.
• Notify Team Leads and/or Security as necessary in escalated situations.
• Ensure that alcohol does not leave the stadium.
• Represent Blue Roof Entertainment in a professional manner at all times.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Basic technology skills
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate preferred.
