Job description

Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

• Move material by hand, by pallet jack, or by operating material handling equipment if applicable.

• Unloads containers and prepare product to be placed in inventory

• Accurately use an RF scanner

• Report all discrepancies or damaged goods. Document and label materials according to procedures.
• Complete relevant transactions to document the movement of material via RF Scanner, computer, or paperwork. Verify transactions accuracy.
• Communicate and coordinate necessary information to the appropriate department/shift to ensure effective operation

• Identify issues in the process, customer orders, shipping, and/or receiving areas, and report any issues in the process to the immediate supervisor.

• May operate material handling equipment as necessary including a walkie, reach, dock stocker, order picker or sit-down forklift.   
• Follow all 6S procedures and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• All other duties directed by work instruction.

· Ability to analyze problems and determine the appropriate resolutions on a daily basis.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, to various audiences.

· Ability to work with team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

· Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers.

· Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms.

· The Material Handler is frequently required to lift 50 pounds or greater, stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl.

· The work environment will expose employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, and Dust.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
