We are seeking 2 Material Handlers to join our growing Shipping team!

Performs general warehouse and inventory support by picking materials for production work orders, shipments, and as directed for other activities. Supports the shipping function by crating and packing of shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs daily cycle counts as directed.

Assists in receiving materials and putting away stock utilizing the business system software tools. Includes delivering materials to employees when necessary.

Picks production work orders and kits for shipment while maintaining proper count quantities.

Transacts material issued to work orders into the MRP inventory system.

Controls inventory of materials warehouse.

Assists in packing and crating of product for shipment. Weighs crates, prepares weigh bills and prepares shipping labels as directed.

Maintains the work areas ensuring a safe and orderly work place.

Transports material to and from various departments as required.

Builds crates for shipping large cabinets.

Performs duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2-years experience in electronics production environment with a shipping and receiving background is desired.

Skill at: General office and computer input skills. Communication ability to work with others. Must be detail oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities.

Must be detailed oriented with high emphasis on accuracy. Frequent pressures to meet scheduled deadlines may involve working extended hours. Finger dexterity for computer entry. May perform heavy lifting (up to approximately 50 lbs.) on a daily basis. Long periods of standing required.
