Job description
The Material Specialist position is located in our company's Manufacturing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inventory management of raw materials and finished goods and ensuring that all materials are accounted for, properly stored and delivered to the production floor.
- Prepare daily inventory reports
- Send daily production reports to suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders to send to suppliers
- Prepare delivery schedules, make adjustments and monitor performance
- Maintain receiving and shipment records
- Update suppliers performance daily
- Prepare claims against suppliers for quality or downtime issues
- Evaluate suppliers to ensure continuous improvement
- Inform suppliers of monthly production requirements or volume changes
- Analyze inventory amounts to ensure no shutdowns or excess inventory
- Analyze monthly inventory for issues such as missing inventory
Our idea candidate would have between 3 months and to 3 years experience in an office environment with a Bacheolors degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,502.16 - $56,357.00 per year
