Meals-On-Wheels Administrative Assistant
Job description
Full-time position located at the Nashville Meals-on-Wheels office. Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operations of a large, multi-county, Meals-on-Wheels program, supervising assigned administrative staff, overseeing numerous databases, coordinating specialized contracted billing activities, assisting with computer issues and preparing a variety of specialized reports and spreadsheets. Job related duties require considerable technical knowledge of database systems, strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills, considerable experience supervising staff and assisting in the management of a large program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with an B.A. (B.S.) Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; considerable experience assisting with administrative aspects of a large program and supervising the activities of an administrative staff; strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills; experience monitoring program budgets and performing accounting transactions; dedicated attention to detail; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Additional requirements include clean background, driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
