Harcon Precision Metals is an impressively diversified sheet metal fabrication plant. HPM's broad base expertise caters to the quality requirements and demands of these highly technological fields. HPM is looking for a team of Solid Works drafters who are familiar with sheet metal fabrication, bend deductions, Part Modeling, PDM (Product Data Management), and 3D Assembly modeling with exposure to manufacturing processes.

• Design/Drafting of Sheet Metal Products.
• Must have Sheet metal design/draft background.

Description:
Manufacturing Designer/Drafter responsible for drawing generation using appropriate format and notes. The candidate will be required to create 3D models from guidelines with appropriate dimension, tolerance, and part finishes (while considering manufacturing methodologies) as well as generating fabrication and assembly drawings of components.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must have experience in the following areas:

• Design and drafting in sheet metal. Knowledge of sheet metal folding/unfolding as well as bend allowance/deduction.
• Experience with Solid Works is required.
• Experience with FabriWIN / AP100US Sheet Metal Programming software is highly preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and hands-on skills in the sheet metal fabrication industry with exposure to manufacturing processes are desired.
• Certified Solid Works Professional (CSWP) is highly preferred for the candidates who apply for the team leader position.
• Sponsorship is NOT available. Candidates must have US work authorization to apply for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
