Summit Technical Solutions (STS) seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to evaluate and certify defense systems in support of US national security policy. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and provide recommendations on complicated weapon systems. You’ll develop your skills in systems and electrical engineering while gaining experience in defense programs. Grow your skills by merging practical engineering experience and new technologies to create systems capable of supporting national security. Essential Job Functions

  • Experience working in Mechanical or Electrical system design, test or evaluation for ICBM/GBSD
  • Experience with ICBM or other nuclear system is helpful.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience with software design, development, or evaluation
  • Experience with DoD Systems
  • Experience with PCB design, schematic design, and PCB design software
  • Knowledge of system architecture and design methodologies
  • Ability to evaluate systems against technical requirements and identify concerns and issues

Preferred:

  • Experience with AMAC systems and Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience with logic devices and embedded systems or programming software
  • Ability to communicate advanced concepts in software engineering clearly and translate to non-technical individuals
  • BS degree in EE or a related field preferred; MS degree in EE or a related field a plus

Travel: Travel as required to support operations (expected more than 50% of the time).

Security Clearance: Secret is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
