PRIMARY PURPOSE

This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
• Make sure that schedules are being run exactly as they are listed.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Turn off equipment when not in use.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics.
• Knowledge of machine testing procedures.

SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT USED IN THIS JOB

• Hand tools

OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
