Kettering Health is in search of adding a few RN's to our Medical Surgical unit!

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for 2-year commitment (Day shift)

$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for 2-year commitment (Night shift)

Location:  405 W Grand Ave. Dayton, OH 45405

Must Haves:
Licensure: Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse

Certification:  BLS certification - Kettering can help schedule/obtain BLS during pre-employment screenings ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice

Experience: 2-3 years minimum of RN experience (if less than 2 years of RN experience, they must have hospital nursing experience)

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE). If a candidate is from non-accredited school, must have 1 year of acute care experience before they can be considered.

About the Unit:
Number of Beds: 43
Patient Population: We are a med-surg / observation unit. We get anyone expected to be in the hospital for 48 hours or less- chest pain, COPD, infection, surgery etc. We are a bariatric center of excellence and do the sleeves and Roux-en-y’s. We have a little bit of everything up here from thyroidectomies, chole’s, appy’s, colectomies, mastectomies, to HD pts, COPD, infected backs and joints, and any med-surg or Hospice pts.

Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2-6
