Our upscale Assisted Living Community is looking for qualified med techs. You must have updated med tech certification. The following will be expected to fulfill this position:
- Assists with the daily physical and hygienic care needs of residents as directed. These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Dispenses medication to residents as per physicians’ orders, quality assurance standards and state regulations.
- Advises supervising nurse of residents’ status and condition at beginning and end of shift
- Promotes a safe and clean environment
- Maintains confidentiality of all resident information and ensures resident privacy
- Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents
- Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the Nurse Supervisor or Resident Care Supervisor
- Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards
- Assists families and other visitors as needed
- Attends/completes required in-services and other required meetings
- Performs other duties as directed
- This position could possibly include some resident care duties
- Must be able to work every weekend or every other weekend
