Assists the Physician(s) and others in providing direct patient care in the CMH Raiter Family Clinic. This position also requires assisting with medication refills, immunizations, and other Clinic Assistants as needed. Rooms patients, takes vital signs, performs hearing tests, tympanic testing, bladder scans, and assists with performing EKG'S. Documents appropriate observations in the electronic medical record. Acts as a liaison between physician and patient. Perform other duties as assigned. The position will primarily work days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Current licensure (LPN) or certification as a CMA or willingness to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire. Clinic experience preferred. BLS and/or willingness to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
Minimum Starting Wage: $19.43 per hour; you may be eligible for a higher rate of pay based on transferable skills and/ or direct work experience.
