WorkFit Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to work our thriving Occupational Health/Urgent Care clinic in Rochester, New York. The Medical Assistant is dedicated to providing quality, customer centered care to the clients and patients of a busy Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care Center. The MA will take vitals, room patients, perform urine drug screens, and provide strong support to the Medical Providers and nursing staff.

This is a Full-Time opportunity

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Phlebotomy Skills Strongly Desired
• Familiarity with performing basic audio-grams and vision tests
• Ability to perform EKG testing
• Collecting Vital Signs
• Drug Testing
• Performing EKG's
• Mask Fits and Spirometry

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients to be assessed by the medical provider
• Obtain vital signs
• Conduct blood draws
• Perform urine drug tests
• Perform audio grams
• Perform Mask Fit Testing
• Perform Pulmonary Function tests
• Prepare exam rooms for patients
• Familiarity with performing basic audio-grams and vision tests
• Ability to perform EKG testing
• Stock exam rooms with medical supplies
• High energy for fast paced business
• Professional and friendly demeanor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience or certification as MA preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or urgent care setting preferred, but not required
