Medical Assistant - Boston IVF - Boston Location

We currently have a full time opening for an experienced Medical Assistant in our downtown Boston location. Currently, the schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a weekend/holiday rotation depending on the needs of the department.

Summary

Provides clinical assistance to the nursing and physician teams to ensure an effective daily flow of the clinical practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Assists the clinicians with office procedures (Saline Sonography, endometrial biopsy, etc)

Chart Prep for upcoming patient appointments

Orders supplies and stocks exam rooms

Clean and sterilize instruments using autoclave

Highly motivated and organized

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient, accurate and professional manner

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent computer skills

Sees patients in clinic with the physician and performs basic functions such as vital signs and weight

Education and Experience

1-2 Years of medical assistant experience

Medical Assistant certification required

Women's health experience preferred

Infertility experience a definite plus!

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
• Women's Health and Fertility: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)
