Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and compassionate person to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the responsibilities of a Medical Assistant and should have prior experience facilitating medical administration and health care and scheduling appointments. This person must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and with teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Secretarial work.
• Assist in medical examinations and procedures.
• Report, record, and communicate the results of medical examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patient records and other reports.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Prepare sterile equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
