Medical Assistant- FT
Adult primary care practice in Doylestown has opening for dedicated professional with experience in outpatient office setting. Multifaceted opportunity for energetic MA. Responsibilities
- Record patient medical history thoroughly and accurately
- Telephone triage -Staffing the nurses phone line-
- Thorough EMR patient documentation management
- Accurately record patient medical history and medication use
- Assist clinical staff with rooming patients, updating patient EMR records and preparing patients for visit with provider
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Working closely assisting providers with patient care
- Prepare and administer injections, EKG, ear lavage, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Daily office upkeep and housekeeping duties
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant
- BLS certified
- Experience working in a medical office
- Experience working with an EMR (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)
