We are seeking a REMOTE Medical Billing Specialist for our client in Dayton, OH.

What are the requirements?

• Patient accounting.
• Full revenue cycle process.
• Review government and payor manuals and websites for existing and new claim requirements.
• Analyze electronic and paper claims.
• Handle rejections.
• Insurance follow up on denied claims.
• Filing timely appeals.
• Posting Payment Receipts.
• Transmitting secondary claims and working payment denials.
• Posting payments.
• Denials for potential issues delaying claim production
• Insurance Verification.
• Client/ caregiver notifications regarding coverage and payments.
• Referrals/Pre-Authorizations.
• Discussing payment plans with patients.
• Able to process paper claims properly.
• Electronic transmission of claims to third party payers.
• Knowledge of commercial insurances and Medicare/Medicaid.
• Basic computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
