Our great team at Health Fund Solutions is looking for full time Medical Biller Specialist for our Orlando, Florida Office. Looking for prior experience insurance technology, medical background and payment management of accounts. Candidate is required to work remotely and must live in Central Florida.

This position is responsible for invoicing hospital account payments into company’s database.

Responsibilities

• Work with hospital representatives on claim issues
• Post payments received by hospital facilities
• Work insurance offsets
• Ensure proper revenue billed per contracts
• Verify Insurance information on patient account for accuracy and contract compliance
• Assist with premium payments at the end of the month and note accounts in the proper hospital EMR’s as requested by facilities (last 2 weeks of the month)

• Review exception reports
• Identify and report insurance trends to Director of Operations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in medical insurance invoicing and payment management of accounts
• Understanding of copay, co-insurance, and deductibles with commercial insurance is helpful
• Understanding qualifications of Medicaid and Disability is helpful
• Ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing as needed
• Perform basic operations in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Organized
• Attention to detail
• Work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Education:

• High School Diploma required
• College Degree or some college preferred
• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience required

Physical Abilities:

While performing the duties of this job

• Ability to sit for long periods of time entering data into the computer
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to concentrate and stay on task for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
