We are recruiting for a Full Time Medical Day Care Assistant to join our skilled pediatric team in Voorhees, NJ. This position is 40 hours per week, and is eligible for our full benefits package!
About Us:
Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) has grown into a nationally recognized pediatric specialty care center that offers 119 in-patient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF continues to be recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare, and in 2013 VPF received the highest accreditation awarded by The Joint Commission. In addition, VPF has expanded to include The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Voorhees Pediatric Facility Medical Daycare, and Voorhees Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (VPRS). As a member of our pediatric team, you will be responsible for:
- The Medical Day Care Assistant is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, functioning under the daily direction of the RN and LPN and reporting to the Director of Medical Day. The Medical Day Care Assistant performs various tasks/activities which support the overall functioning of the Medical Day Care Center.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
- Education/training/experience in child development and/or childcare
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or under supervision
- Current AHA CPR certification
