Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: The Lead Medical Laboratory Technician assists in providing oversight of daily Laboratory operations; provides technical guidance to all laboratory positions and is expected to function as a bench MLT performing both routine and complex laboratory analysis without direct supervision. Assists in monitoring quality control data and maintaining department procedure manuals; and as needed performs select administrative functions in the absence of the supervisor or manager.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Educations: Associate degree or Bachelor Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or other life sciences from an accredited college.
• Required Certification: ASCP Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT)
  
• Preferred Certification: Certification by ASCP
• Preferred Experience: Two years post graduate Laboratory experience.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
