Full-Time
Performs general pre-certification/verification/re-certification functions, schedules appointments and distributes all transcribed documentation assuring accuracy and arrival in physician’s office in a timely manner. Maintains billing documentation in AS400, enters charges and verifies charge entry reports, answers telephones, relays messages, and performs general secretarial functions for the Rehabilitation Services Department. This position is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma required. Business/Secretarial courses preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in a medical office or hospital setting required.
Skills/Other: Knowledge of computer applications, medical office surroundings, registration process, medical terminology Ability to type 40 wpm. Excellent customer service skills. Possesses team-focused attributes. Works scheduled hours as assigned. Knowledge of medical office, pre-certification and benefits information. Able to handle multiple tasks.

Pay: $15.71 - $23.72 per hour
