Medical Services Supervisor: Outpatient Program [Position # 376]
Our Medical Services Program is an Outpatient setting that provides imperative care to address Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder issues.
We are looking to provide a long and strong career path for a compassionately skilled professional who seeks an opportunity to work with some of the most experienced providers in Collier County.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Providing direct supervision to Nursing Staff.
- Displaying energy, empathy and efficiency regarding Client care.
- Addressing Client concerns of those that arrive at or call into the clinic.
- Communicating with schools, families and outside providers.
- Ensuring effective and efficient daily program operations through standardized/consistent workflows.
- Ongoing and consistent training/direction for all Nursing Staff regarding duties assigned in Medical Services.
- Working collaboratively with the Medical Services Director, Practice Manager Coordinator, and Medical Providers.
- Focusing on a team-based approach with all Staff in the department.
- Ensuring timely access to services to maximize productivity and minimize no-shows.
- Assisting Program Director to meet and maintain program budget expectations for salary, merit recommendations and operating expenses.
- Providing back-up support for Nursing staff.
- Utilizing "full-throttle" communication skills that portray the care you take for your work in both correspondence and conversation
- Taking initiative to use all hours of your day in solving problems, taking on special projects or supporting other Staff.
- Detecting and remedying any mistake or violation of DLCenters' policies through the appropriate channel.
- Recognizing that every day is a fresh start for your Staff and your Clients.
TO BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR ELITE MEDICALSERVICES TEAM:
- Bachelors in related field, or LPN/RN Licensure = Strongly Preferred
- Experience supervising Staff members = Required
- Experience working in a Medical/Substance Use/Mental Health setting = Required
- Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record = Required
- Tried and true experience with immaculate documentation skills = Required
- Capacity to relate to a diverse group of Clients, community partners and co-workers = Required
- Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Medical Records = Strongly Preferred
- Confidence to work with a combination of empathy, energy and efficiency = Required
- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required
LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:
- Full-Time Salaried/Exempt Position
~ Potential for 4 x 10-hours Monday-Thursday
