Position: Medical Technologist
Location: Cushing, Oklahoma
Schedule: Varied days and nights
Duration: This is a permanent position
Pay: $30 - $33 hourly, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Receives and processes specimens according to laboratory protocols.
• Performs daily quality control, calibration, and routine testing with minimal supervision.
• Produces, interprets, and reports accurate test results in a timely manner.
• Communicates important information and issues to lab manager and colleagues.
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on instruments as needed.
• Is responsible for keeping competency testing updated.
• Responsible for maintaining effective quality assurance programs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school with an AS or BS in Medical Laboratory Science or healthcare related field.
• ASCP registered or equivalent.
• Maintains appropriate continuing education as needed for certification.
