POSITION SUMMARY
The Medicare Regulatory Strategist provides strategic direction in collaboration with account teams to support our Medicare clients in this client facing position. This involves using extensive market knowledge to support product development, manage work plans, perform data analysis, as well as work cross functionally with research, sales and account management, client and member services, and other functional areas as needed. This position serves as the primary contact for all Medicare strategic initiatives and market growth objectives. The Medicare Strategist plays a critical role in the interpretation of applicable CMS guidance, client retention, and overall client satisfaction within the Medicare line of business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strong relationship management skills, to set and meet shared expectations with clients and cross functional partners.
Direct client support, creating and leading presentations with clients and account teams on a range of Medicare specific strategies.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify market trends and recommendations.
Medicare expertise is essential for success in this role. A strong background in health benefits or regulated lines of business is preferred.
Ability to work in a dynamic business environment balancing competing deadlines.
Strong strategic thinking and self-motivation or crucial for this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred.
5+ years applicable healthcare experience is required.
Strategic and creative thinker with ability to translate strategies, market knowledge, data and customer insights into actions/requirements/implementation and drive results.
Must have excellent presentation and communication skills and experience presenting to leaders across functional disciplines.
Mastery of communication tools and software, including word, PPT and Excel.
Ability to travel as needed to meet client and business objectives.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
