POSITION PURPOSE*

Enhances the quality of life for our members by meeting or exceeding their service expectations. Provides high quality service, defined as ensuring prompt and accurate transactions, while utilizing a needs-based referral and selling approach that builds member relationships, trust and loyalty, delivered in a professional, member-centric environment. Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail. Balances each day's transactions and assigned cash and negotiables. This universal branch position primarily assists with members account and lending needs. Completes teller transactions as needed. Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, certificates, IRA’s and assisting members with questions and problems, providing a complete service experience. Answers members’ questions regarding Credit Union services and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. Actively cross-sells Credit Union services and participates in needs-based sales environment. Performs specific assigned tasks, assists branch team members with duties as required, and serves as a resource for other team members. Takes lead responsibility for branch functions such as ATM and vault processing and balancing, branch cash ordering and cash utilization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:*
High school graduate or equivalent.
Notary. NMLS preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:*
Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies.
Understanding of Teller/New Account/Lending functions.
Member Service driven.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:*
One year to three years of similar or related experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES:*
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Well organized.
Able to operate related to computer applications and basic business equipment.
Good team player abilities..
