The Member Services Representative - 100% phones will be responsible for understanding
NATP membership levels, member benefits included in each level, and how the levels impact
the software systems. Handle member renewal processing, retention activities, and support the
team on more complex membership questions. Handle incoming calls and inquiries from
members regarding NATP products and services.


What You Do
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Ambassador of NATP Values – Excellence, Respect, Inclusion and Belonging, Passion
  • Answer incoming calls and assist members and other callers with service requests, e.g.,
membership, registrations, orders, referrals to other departments, etc.
  • Accurately process batches of membership, registration, and bookstore order transactions in
accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Provide support as needed for updating records, clearing e-mail from general e-mail boxes;
membership packets; registration packets and fulfillment projects.
  • Assist with database input projects, such as demographic information, surveys, and member-record
cleanup.
  • Assist team on projects to help with membership growth and retention.
  • Assist with registration projects to help with registrants and instructors.
  • Assist with event setup projects.
  • Maintain and enhance proficiency with all facets of NetForum, our association management
software.
  • Maintain and enhance proficiency with Office365, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Asana,

SharePoint, and Knowledge Center.

What You Bring
• At least three years of customer service experience and a passion to serve our members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills with the ability to simplify
complex situations and provide clear follow-up.
  • Intermediate computer skills utilizing numerous technology platforms and Office365 experience.
  • Comfortable with working in an environment that is consistently changing and evolving.
  • Detail orientated, deadline driven, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be business-like in appearance and demeanor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, or similar or an associate degree and

equivalent experience is highly desired.

Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, with an occasional need to be in the office. This position’s primary
focus is phones. Routinely use basic office equipment such as phone, computer, and copier. Work
hours are full-time Monday through Friday and will usually average 40 hours a week. Extended
evening and weekend work may occur occasionally to meet the needs of the business.
