Member Support Manager – South Burlington, VT:

Job Description:

• Understand all aspects of VFCU's Card Servicing program, which includes debit and credit card portfolio and debit disputes.
• Participate in all aspects of service delivery for all non-real estate secured loans ensuring the member experience is optimum. Engage with external business partners to ensure systems and services are in place to provide excellent service to our members while remaining compliant with regulations.
• Identify and implement enhancements to process that will improve service level while also creating efficiencies. Responsible for all reporting related to consumer loans and card portfolio including oversight of help-desks.
• Understand all aspects Retail Operations, which includes VFCU’s overdraft program, IRA and HSA programs, and deposit products.
• Partner with HR and Development on the teams career development and the departments hiring needs. Reviews and monitors the work of Member Support team; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department.
• Meet with each employee monthly to review previous month’s performance, set goals for upcoming month’s performance, and develop plans for future growth.
• Deliver outstanding service that is in alignment with the Credit Union’s Service Promises.

Requirements:

• Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Projects a positive attitude and fosters an environment of professional excellence.
• Has a high degree of emotional intelligence and understands the merits of servant leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and is effective at networking, relationship building and cross-functional partnership. Is collaborative and open to differing opinions and views. Partner and maintain excellent working relationships with other areas, departments and the communities that we serve.
