Under limited supervision, the Memory Support Manager coordinates the memory support program to ensure that the physical, social & emotional needs of the residents and their families are met. This is a beautiful Life plan community and an intimate group of residents. Enjoy a free lunch in our Bistro.

The salary range is $65,000-$75,000 and up, depending on experience.

Work Duties

Keeps the HumanGood Memory Support Program Philosophy at the core of all planning and implementation of activities and care to meet the specific needs of residents;

Supervises Team Members in Memory Support; supervision includes management of work schedules, hiring, training, evaluating, employee development, coaching, discipline, salary increases, and adjustments;

Leads by example and collaborates with Community Life Coordinator to ensure team members engage residents in programs

Provides orientation for new residents and family members;

Conduct and promote support and/ or educational groups for residents/ families;

Communicates with resident family members in a respectful and caring manner and provides information regarding residents’ daily life as appropriate; uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations;

Coordinates with the Director of Wellness and Assisted Living when significant changes in residents occur which may lead to a level of care change or adjustment;

Performs various related essential duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education –

High School Diploma or equivalent;

Bachelor Degree preferred

Experience/Training –

Must have at least 2-5 years of Memory Care experience with people living with dementia, and at least 1 year of supervision experience.

Prefer 2+ years experience in assisted living management or life plan community (CCRC) or Memory Care

First Aid certification and CPR training required

Experience Required
3 - 5 years: Must have at least 3 to 5 years prior related experience with people living with dementia and at least 1 year of supervision experience.
