Fellowship House is activity seeking entry level bachelors level clinicians to work as Clubhouse Generalist at Fellowship House’s Club Fellowship in Palmetto Bay. The Clubhouse program is an exciting and innovative model of treatment for people living with mental illness, following the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. www.clubhouse-intl.org Clubhouse staff have generalist roles and share employment, community support, evening/weekend/holiday, and unit responsibilities. Central to this role is the energetic engagement of members in all aspects of unit and Clubhouse operations. Staff complete unit work with members, not for members. Staff assist members in developing vocational, educational, housing, and socialization goals and objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Work with members one on one and in group settings on resume development, job searching, interview skills and other vocational activities.

2. Serve as Placement Managers and pitch Transitional Employment to area businesses, learning those placements and training member on the TEP.

3. Cover TE placements in the event members cannot go to work and will provide support on at least a weekly basis.

4. Work with members to apply for jobs, entitlements, housing, education, etc.

5. Follow and educate others on the Standards and Clubhouse philosophy.

6. Along with members, represent and promote the Clubhouse in the community.

7. Attend trainings (one to two weeks in length) to learn and better apply Clubhouse philosophy.

8. Other duties required to fulfill the needs of the Clubhouse

Requires a bachelor’s degree in the human services field (social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, health education, etc.).

Requires a valid Florida driver's license.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred

Background Check & Drug Test is required upon employment.
