IMPORTANT!

Seeking Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with Board approval to provide supervision to graduate licensed therapists.

Responsibilities of the Mental Health Therapist Supervisor:

• Offer clinical supervision, to Licensed Master Social Workers/Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors.
• Responsible for directing, guiding, monitoring, instructing, and evaluating the supervisee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide clinical professional counseling services ethically and competently in compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain physical and electronic records of all supervision with each supervisee.
• Meet weekly with supervisee either in-person or via tele-supervision
• Responsible for reviewing the supervisee's documentation (i.e. client notes, assessments, treatment plans, overall case developments, etc.)
• Facilitate written supervision contract required for state licensure, according to state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport
• Strong leadership qualities
• Licensed as a supervisor in either Maryland or Washington, D.C.

This position is a contractual/fee-for-service opportunity and requires the candidate to see up to 8 supervisees per week. Applicants must have a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work as well as maintain one of the following licenses: LCPC-S (supervisor)

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
