Now Hiring:
We have one (1) immediate opening in our lab for a Milling Technician
About The Position:
The shift will start at 5:30 AM and will end at 2:00 PM.
What You Will Be Doing:
The Milling Machine Operator/Technician fabricates all restorations from files produced in the CAD/CAM workflow using specialized machining software and computer-operated mills. This technician will perform light maintenance and calibration on all machines and work with procurement on material needs for the Milling Work Center. A skilled operator may help troubleshoot and solve problems associated with quality and equipment operation. Training for this position is hands-on and supplemented by written documentation.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to use a desktop computer, mouse, and keyboard
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to stand for most/all of shift
- Ability to handle extended screen time
- Dexterity to work inside milling chambers and to greenstate
- Ability to handle exposure to heat, moisture, and dust
- Ability to visually identify milling defects during unloading/greenstate
- Familiarity or ability to effectively learn Nesting PC, Mills, Suctions, Sintering Ovens, high and low-speed handpiece, air hose, pizza oven, and barcode scanner
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Ability and dexterity to work with hands
- A desire to learn and grow with an organization
