Job description

Our growing company is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Millwright. The position is available at our North Carolina office working between Southport NC, and Elizabethtown NC. Must be willing to do some travel.

Normal hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 7am to 3:30 PM but hours may vary.

Millwrights are responsible for operational activities in general maintenance and construction at the mill site, including equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance and general construction. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and experience working with a variety of tools.

Duties Required, but not limited to:

• Be able to read blueprints.
• Know how to do welding.
• Understanding of all industrial equipment
• Ability to operate alignment Tools
• Able to understand and use precision tooling
• Understanding of troubleshooting procedures for industrial equipment
• Use hand tools.
• Operate cranes and hoists.
• Be able to lift heavy objects.
• Use tools and work in awkward positions.
• Be able to understand mechanical drawings.
• Be proficient in math.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
