The Millwright Grade II role performs maintenance on a variety of building and production equipment throughout our Sheboygan Falls facilities using preventative/predictive maintenance. This includes fabrication, construction, rebuilding and installing new and existing equipment as well as supporting engineering, manufacturing, and operations for all aspects of plant maintenance.

• Accountable for safety, in, on, and around all equipment.
• Responsible for the installation or movement of production and facility equipment.
• May instruct helpers in equipment handling.
• Perform quality welding utilizing in-house processes.
• Perform carpentry and plumbing projects.
• Fabricate or machine parts using common machine tools such as a mill, lathe, and drill press.
• Participate in the design, construction, and assembly of new equipment from drawings, sketches, and/or verbal instructions.
• Participate in the rebuild, removal, and troubleshooting of existing equipment and processes.
• Be familiar with hydraulic systems and principles of operation.
• Initiate corrective action by maintaining ongoing contact with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and others to drive high quality, timely change.
• Remain current with state-of-the-art technology by utilizing the technical development program, seminars, courses, trade publications, and other appropriate sources of technical data.
• Will train, instruct, and offer guidance to less experienced personnel.

Hand tools, power hand tools, welders (including Heli-arc, GMAW, and stick), common machine tools, hydraulic test equipment, basic electrical tools, overhead crane. Ability to pass Forklift Operator’s test.

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Millwright certification
