Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Technologist

Summary:
Based in beautiful Polk County, Arkansas, our client is a highly regarded hospital with a vision to be the region’s leader in patient services. Western Arkansas is haven to open land, forests and water offering a variety of recreational activities.
We are looking for an MLTs and MTs interested in working in a rewarding laboratory environment with an exceptional team of experts and specialists. Techs will perform routine and/or complex tests in various areas of the Lab using standard techniques and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform simple and complex tests using various laboratory equipment.
May perform mechanical or chemical operations and microscopic tests to obtain data for the use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Receives or obtains specimens for laboratory analysis.
Records and reports laboratory results.
Requirements:
MT - Bachelors degree with ASCP or MT
MLT - Associates degree with ASCP or MT
Certified as a Medical Technologist
Previous experience in a laboratory setting
Must have excellent organization, verbal, written and communication skills
