Position Description:
Job Title: Mobile Applications Systems Engineer
Duration: 12-Months

Description:
Additional Responsibilities
- Develops customer requirements for mobile applications running on Android, iOS, and Windows or other platforms. The key application is the Guidanz Mobile application available on Google Play and the Apple Store). The mentioned applications interface with the product being serviced to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
- Participates in defining User Experience concepts based on the voice of the customer and further refines the concepts through functional requirements.
- Works with a global development team (Central Indiana and Pune, India) to evaluate architecture and design options for the delivery of products. Supports identifying new technologies and approaches to reduce development times.
- Analyses Application Programming interfaces (APIs) from delivery partners and identifies gaps and requirements to support changing needs.
- Applies a robust failure mode analysis (FMEA) to ensure the robustness of products against failures
- Fields questions from the customer, development, and test organizations and bridges the gaps in knowledge.
- Captures voices and develops requirements using a structured methodology supporting an Agile development process.
Experience with the following technologies is beneficial
- Development with complex products involving data collection and analytics
- Automotive network protocols - CAN/SAE J1939/Ethernet/OPC-UA
- Client/server and cloud-based technologies
- Database capabilities and management
- Working on multiple projects and with global teams involved.
- Automotive Service systems and environment
- Product development for iOS, Android, Linux, and Windows applications

Qualification Details
Bachelors or Master in Computer Science or related field
Notes:
Candidates need to have a broad understanding of systems, systems development, interface controls, windows, IOS, and Android Operations systems. This is a Hybrid position - CWK - will work one day per week on-site. Candidates need to be geographically close enough to be able to go on-site one day per week. Hours - 8am - 5pm or 7:30am - 4pm. Some flexibility for working hours.
