Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to the residents of Muskegon County and surrounding areas. HCC is looking to hire a full-time Mobile Services Coordinator.

The Mobile Services Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating services of the mobile dental and medical/mental health units to various locations within Muskegon County. These sites may include schools, nursing homes and other locations to provide services to populations who may not have direct access to our clinics. The coordinator will work with internal and external resources to help market and improve the overall success of the program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships at the schools where Hackley Community Care (HCC) currently provides services, as well as where HCC could provide services – both at schools and at other community agencies.
  • Establish similar relationships with school staff and school secretaries to coordinate and schedule service deliveries to students or other populations.
  • Promote HCC mobile services to other organizations via presentations, relationship development, outreach, and new patient.
  • Will provide necessary support to the marketing team during off season. The medical/mental health unit is season whereas the dental unit is year-round.
  • Program oversight to include:
  • Tracking and generating productivity, staffing and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate the execution of scheduled mobile services to ensure all provided services are supported via documentation, consent forms, registration, scheduling.
  • Expected to attend and support staff and patients served.
  • Able to schedule patients, register patients, and verbally inform patients regarding HCC’s full scope of services.
  • Work directly with department managers, directors, mobile unit coordinator, school staff, and outreach staff to ensure all services are provided appropriately and within HCC’s scope of practice.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical or dental office experience preferred.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), voicemail, email, and Outlook calendar.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees, school staff and other community agencies.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Highly effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
