Description

SAIC is seeking Systems Engineering support across NASA Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Mission Projects to enable the development of use cases, requirements, and architectures to support project research goals and the integration of those artifacts into NASA’s AAM MBSE activities. A major support area will include modeling and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) support. NASA has adopted the use of the MagicDraw Tool Suite for its MBSE effort, so proficiency and use of MagicDraw is essential for success.

  • Support ARMD providing systems engineering support across NASA AAM Mission projects
  • Assist with development of system architecture; concepts of operation, and use cases; and system interfaces and requirements
  • Interface with NASA Projects and SAIC’s Engineering Innovation Factory (EIF)
  • Provide guidance and support to develop models of concepts and test architectures
  • Support project research goals and the integration of those artifacts into NASA’s AAM MBSE activities
  • Provide and attend collaborative weekly & monthly status reports

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors and two to four (2-4) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience. For 1233: Bachelors and five to eight (5-8) years or more experience; Masters and three to six (3-6) years related experience.

Required Experience:

  • Experience with the application of systems engineering, model-based engineering, digital engineering methods and creative thought-leadership to mature and develop revolutionary digital engineering solutions
  • Experience using modern MBSE tools (Cameo/MagicDraw; TeamWork Cloud; DOORS, Rhapsody, SPARX, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing requirements and system designs and using modern Systems Engineering toolchains (IBM/DOORS, Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary analysis and optimization tools and digital engineering lifecycle management tools
  • Extensive systems engineering experience in system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements, system architecture, CONOPS, and systems verification
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate in a challenging, dynamic, fast paced environment

Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
