Job description
A successful candidate for the Model Based Systems Engineer will support the requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation associated with the modernization of complex government systems.
Required Skills
- Prior systems modeling experience.
- Apply systems engineering principles throughout system lifecycle phases, to include: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Experience with Cameo & SysML.
- Ability to learn and adapt skillset.
- Communicate well with team members and leadership as part of an embedded team.
- Enhance current model and design of team.
- Promote better customer and user interaction.
- Perform tasks with an eye for quality and completeness.
- Comfortable providing direction and leadership when working at MBSE IV level.
- May provide leadership support, depending upon customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS PhD plus nine (9) years of professional experience; Master’s degree plus twelve (12) years of professional experience; Bachelor’s degree plus fourteen (14) years of professional experience is acceptable.
CERTIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES Cameo & SysML experience preferred.
