Calling all nurse practitioners who would love to have a nice little side gig! If you are looking to supplement your income with a moonlighting job, read on. Pediatric Housecalls is the Charlotte, NC area's first pediatric-specific housecalls-based urgent care practice. We are creating a new dedicated "At-home stitches, staples, and glue" team, to expand our services to our already-existing following of families. This position is SPECIFICALLY for the laceration repair team. Most pediatric offices and many local urgent care clinics no longer offer laceration repair for kids, forcing families to incur ridiculous wait times and sky-high costs to go to the ER, just to get stitches or Dermabond. We know there is a better way to provide this much-needed service in families' homes, keeping costs down, and allowing kids and families a stress-free experience. If you are one of those clinicians who loves procedures (you know who you are!), loves kids and are skilled at creating a stress-free experience for them, then this is the perfect side-gig for you! Ideally, we'd like to have a team of 4-5 nurse practitioners who could be readily available and "on-call" to pick up lac repair house call requests on-demand. Payment is per-patient. Direct deposit is offered every two weeks. All malpractice and supplies are paid for by us. A supervising physician is available at all times to answer questions via phone or Facetime.
