We are currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor with a background in supporting Real Estate transactions. The knowledge you possess regarding all the nuances and complexities that go into buying, selling, and refinancing properties will come to good use in this position. This role supports the Real Estate Closing from a Title perspective, clearing any title issues regarding liens and any other challenges to facilitate the closing. The company will provide you all the necessary training about Title Insurance and you will bring your analytical, problem solving and communication skills to form a great partnership!

Under the supervision of our National Counsel, the Post-Closing Manager is responsible for managing the Post-Closing Department in a multi-state, high volume setting. In this role, you are passionate about your teams’ development/expertise, accuracy and overall function. You strive to maintain a well-run system and create best practices that drive a seamless process throughout.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the Post Closing Team
  • Work with your post-closing team to ensure all documents are recordable
  • Submit documents for both eRecording and when relevant arrange for physical recording
  • Send original deeds, mortgages, and other documents to the appropriate county for recording
  • Upload documents into our internal software system
  • Receive confirmations of electronic and physical recorded documentation
  • Provide status of the transaction throughout the post-closing process to the appropriate customers.
  • Addressing county-specific recording rejections in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with county recorders’ offices to facilitate the precise recording of documents.
  • Manage in-office document storage process for all post-closing activities
  • Quality check documents for accuracy and errors, and implements corrections as needed.
  • Finalize title policies and liaise with clients and lenders on final policy revisions.
  • Handle the close of escrow process, as well as ensuring all satisfactions are clear and recorded.
  • Additional office duties may be assigned as per the needs of the business
