Mortgage Servicing Specialist – South Burlington, VT:
Job Description:
- This person will be responsible for all facets of escrow services, including payment processing to towns and insurance companies, input of property taxes and insurance the annual escrow analysis process, and responding to member questions and concerns related to escrow.
- The processing of all incoming and outgoing mail, on a daily basis, including all monthly, annual and special mailings.
- Also responsible for the proper care and management of all documents, including those in Nautilus and paper files.
- Monitors and processes help desks from internal staff, particularly those of a less complex nature, such as transaction processing, requests for documents, and mortgage payoff request processing.
- Assists and acts as primary back-up to the Mortgage Servicing Supervisor and will be assigned other duties that mortgage servicing will need.
- Demonstration of accuracy and detail orientation, as demonstrated in daily work.
- Demonstration of willingness to be a supportive team member and assist others, and take on additional responsibilities when needed.
- Deliver outstanding service to internal staff and members, which is in alignment with the Credit Union's Service Promises.
Requirements:
- One year to three years of similar or related experience.
- A two-year college degree, completion of a specialized certification or licensing, completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and discretion requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
