Primary Purpose of Position

** This is an onsite position in our Hampden, ME office.

Working as a team member by acting as software systems analyst / mortgage application system specialist to maintain core operating systems for originations, operations, servicing, accounting and Business Lending systems to provide the most efficient use of the systems.

Duties and responsibilities

· Monitor Windows Server 2012, 2016, Mortgagebot POS & LOS, Servicing Director, Great Plains, Black Knight MSP and Empower, Teams, and LaserPro systems to ensure communication is being done as efficiently as possible.

· Work with department supervisors to discuss specific software needs and enhancements related to core systems (Servicing Director, Great Plains, LaserPro).

· Make recommendations for the enhancements / solutions for core systems as required.

· Provide daily routine and corrective maintenance on issues related to systems. This will require form changes, password issues, system issues etc. for individual Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations, and multiple software platforms.

· Manage users on Windows Server 2012 network (adding, deleting, and permissions).

· Monitor Backup Exec and GFI network error logs daily.

· Troubleshoot day to day computer related issues within departments (PCs, printers, etc.).

· Provides subject matter expertise and support within the specific mortgage system applications

· Participates in all activities for implementing and rollout of new or existing systems and application for the user community

  • Understand the loan origination process, including sales, operational, closing and servicing responsibilities
  • Manage business rules including data entry and workflow progression as requested by management
  • Create and maintain documentation of system functionality, changes, templates and requests

· Support the business areas by drafting communications for the user community, introducing system-related changes for enhancements and changes.

· Provide support to the business areas in drafting procedures and maintaining user-friendly and complete mortgage system reference materials.

· Manage installations, maintenance, and monitoring of domain directory or security applications including Symantec Endpoint Protection & Symantec Messaging Gateway, Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy, Websense, Vasco Identikey.

· Collaborate with third party technology partners to acquire hardware and complete full workstation setups from PC reimaging, software installations, and licensing, to patch management, VMware administration, network engineering, firewall configuration, and disaster recovery planning.

· Manage installations, maintenance, and monitoring of domain directory or security applications including Symantec Endpoint Protection & Symantec Messaging Gateway, Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy, Websense, Vasco Identikey.

· Steer security audit preparedness at CUSO by performing regular vulnerability scans, identifying issues, and applying configuration changes, patches, or upgrades that improve our posture.

· Research and implement new technology products that improve security or efficiency in the workplace, effectively communicating change and providing end user education and best practices where applicable.

Knowledge and Skill

· Well-developed computer application skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· SQL and MS Access skills required.

· Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills.

· Positive attitude and willingness to help others.

· Ability to work as a team member and as an individual.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Basic office skills.

· Minimum of three years of experience in banking, financial services or related industry.

· Minimum of three years of experience in either customer support of technology solutions, including application analysis, testing methodology, procedural writing and/or training and development.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as the ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.

Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field to Business and/or Information Systems required.

· I.T. related certifications related to any of the above listed knowledge and skills a plus.
