Position Summary:

The DCCC is looking for a motion graphics designer with an intuitive understanding of political messaging and the technical skills to help create effective motion and static graphics for web and print. Ideal candidates will be familiar with the 12 Principles of Animation and their impact on motion design and animation. This person will be responsible for helping pitch, create, and edit a variety of visual products.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create motion graphic and static assets for social channels — Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok — and the committee’s paid digital programs across multiple platforms including mobile and out-of-home advertising
• Assist in all phases on graphic creation process, from brainstorming to execution and delivery
• Optimize video and static assets for delivery as gifs
• Help develop unique and new concepts to reach our target audiences
• Work within tight deadlines
• Other duties as needed

• Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator (Premiere and Cinema 4D are a plus).
• Skilled in free-hand and vector illustration;
• Familiarity with designing for a variety of web and print platforms and how to optimize your designs to succeed on each;
• Attention to detail and concern for accuracy;
