MRI Technologist

Shift/Hours:

· Kirkland Clinic hours are 10:30am - 7pm.

· Gardendale location is night Shift. Four 10s with varying start times between 5pm-7:30pm.

Holiday/Weekend Requirement:

· Every 4th weekends. No set schedule for holidays but will take rotating holiday call.

On Call Requirement: None for other locations.
*Gardendale does require on-call Monday-Friday

Internal Pay Scale: Based on internal equity and years of experience, starting at $30.70

Shift Differential:

· Evenings: $3.00

· Nights: $4.00

Responsibilities: Under the direction of a radiologist and the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) manager.

· Perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

· Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to render prescribed MRI procedures as required.

· May be assigned duties as an interim supervisor or instructor.

Must Haves:

Education: Graduate from a Radiology educational program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. 2 year degree acceptable.

License: Currently registered as a Registered Technologist with Magnetic Resonance Imaging Designation (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registered within six (6) months from date of hire for MRI eligible candidates required.

Certification: Would accept a non-registered MRI Tech. Should have BLS.

Experience: At least 2 years for MRI. Phillips systems. Experience with breast imaging. No cardiac experience required.
