FRISCO SCHOOL OF MUSIC and PERFORMING ARTS

Teach on-campus, in-person MUSICAL THEATRE Classes and VOICE LESSONS in Frisco, TX. (NO TEACHING CERTIFICATE REQUIRED)

We are interviewing NOW for our Jan-July position, extended contract available for 2023-24, and also for subs now.

Teaching schedule begins January 9, 2023 - July 2023 : Monday – Thursday 4:00-9:00 pm. Show days are Saturday March 25th & June 17th.

We are growing! Join our Performing Arts School as an MUSICAL THEATRE Teacher and a Private Voice teacher for children through teens. This is your chance to SHINE and help students learn success, self-confidence and leadership through acting/singing/stage dance with scenes and highlights from Broadway Shows.

• Candidate should have experience with stage singing and reading music/scores.
• Candidate should have stage experience with Broadway style dance choreography, participating in shows and also planning choreography sequences and blocking.
• Candidate should have real world acting/singing/theatre experience and professional training (university or similar).
• Candidate must have experience teaching group classes
• Candidate must be able to pass a national background check

We are set up differently than some other schools in the area. We have tons of benefits for teachers.

Our teachers are employees (we pay half your FICA taxes), teachers sign a contract for the lesson year, we supply all supplies/scripts/costumes/props, fill teachers schedules with massive advertising and marketing, handle all collections and billing, PAID FOR NO-SHOWS, and more. We have over 1100 students, open 7 days a week, we have our own performance hall. Three stage shows per year!! Curriculum is fully provided and on site teacher training as well!!

AFTER SCHOOL/EVENING/WEEKEND TEACHING: Teach classes to all ages and levels, elementary through teen .
