Regency Wenatchee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a "STATE OF THE ART FACILITY that offers skilled nursing and long-term care services while focusing on the unique qualities of each individual in a compassionate and caring environment.:Regency Wenatchee is currently interviewing applicants interested in a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Selected applicants will be paid to attend the CNA training program at Wenatchee Valley College (1-year work commitment required).
Next start date: November 2022:
Under the supervision of the assigned nurse, the hospitality aide provides activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of the residents/patients as assigned. Assist in providing a positive physical, social and psychological environment. Follows all facility policies and procedures.:
What you can do:
- Make beds
- Stock rooms
- Clean and pick up rooms
- Push residents to and from meals and activities
- Serves food trays and bedtime snacks
- Answer call lights promptly
- Clean dining room when mealtime is over
- Take residents outside if they request
- Empty bedside commodes
- Treat all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy
- You cannot help feed residents
- No direct care (changing, showering, one person transfers, shaving)
- Two hospitality aids cannot do a transfer together
- Cannot cut nails
- Cannot do vitals
Current or ability to obtain before the first day of employment a First Aid and CPR certifications.
