About the National Account Executive*
The objective of the National Account Executive role is to develop relationships and execute contracts with B2B clients, working with health plans (with a particular emphasis on Medicaid and Medicare Advantage), health systems (hospital systems, ACO’s, group medical practices, etc.), employers, etc. The candidate will build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, uncover key opportunities, priorities, and needs, and ultimately implement and launch their formal business relationship with Foodsmart to leverage telenutrition care and/or operations with Foodsmart registered dietitians and platform use. This role is responsible for full sales cycle ownership from prospecting, through contracting, to post-sale account ownership and growth. Successful execution includes negotiating and executing strategies that drive enrollment and engagement that will ultimately lead to client satisfaction, account revenue growth, renewal, and expansion. The National Account Executive sells to call points including, but not limited to: C-suite/executive level, influential HCP’s, population health, clinical operations, medical economics/actuarial, SDoH, health equity, care/case management, HR, and more. This role calls for someone who is both highly autonomous, as well as an excellent team player. Candidates must be able to effectively manage their own time and proactively triage quickly-changing priorities. Candidates should desire, and thrive in, a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment – they will feel comfortable leveraging their acumen and sales intuition when taking initiative on tasks and priorities. Well-qualified candidates will be excellent presenters/public speakers, and equally distinguished at selling in-person as well as virtually, as this role requires both. Successful sales executives in this role must be passionate about healthcare as a system and keen to learn the nuances of the industry. The ability to work cross-functionally with other non-growth departments will be a critical component of success in this role. Required Skills

  • 3-5+ years experience in healthcare sales
  • Expertise communicating/influencing senior business decision makers (C-suite level is a plus)
  • A demonstrated, documented history of meeting & exceeding sales goals, and end-to-end ownership of deals
  • Experience in enterprise sales with long sales cycles a plus
  • History of success closing 6-7 figure deals a plus
  • Experience in upselling client relationships, gaining commitment for renewals, and expanding contracts
  • Excellence working with cross-functional teams to complete complex projects in a timely manner
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in an allied health field (e.g. nutrition, nursing, public health, healthcare administration, etc.)

Preferred Skills

  • Credential in an allied health profession (e.g. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP), etc.)
  • Understanding of dynamics of population health/public health, and knowledge of healthcare quality improvement
  • Understanding of complex contracting and provider agreements within health plans
  • Knowledge of how health insurance companies serve members across LOBs (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial)
  • Understanding of telehealth, digital health, wellness or nutrition space. Knowledge of dietetics is a big plus
  • The ability to map accounts and understand complex organization structures
